A Little Update...

It's been awhile since I've posted anything but that's just because Christmas & work has been kicking my butt.
There were so many posts I wanted to do for the holidays but never got around to.
Originally I thought it would be nice to do a gift idea posts ranging from home made to $25, $50 and then $100.
But unfortunately I never got around to it with my work schedule.

So this mini update will just be a quick update and a picture post of my tree, presents and stockings.

PICTURES FIRST!

On Friday I attended my company's holiday party.

My dress is from my early 20's and I wanted to see if I could fit into it.
If I couldn't I had 2 other dress options but really wanted to wear the original chosen one.
Luckily...
The dress stretches!
That's the only reason I fit into it.
I'm pretty certain I grew more curves and gained more weight in the past 12 years.
But luckily for me the material of the dress is like spandex.

My evening attire.
Since it was still a company event I wanted to dress classy but still a little sex appeal.
So I picked a sleeveless black dress that came up to  my neck.
And paired them with some suede black platform pumps.

My dress was pretty plain so I wanted to give it a little pop with the statement jewelry I wore.
The little glass balls remind me of crystal light bulbs.
Perfect for a holiday party.

Necklace

Earrings

Bracelet - I ended up not wearing this with my attire but love the peach jewels.

The party was a blast.
My Manager and I were actually thanked and gifted a $200 gift certificate to a restaurant.
It was an appreciation for all the hard work we do behind the scenes.
Our department (Finance) doesn't get a lot of recognition like Sales, Marketing and Operations.
It was a big humbling surprise when the CEO asked me to come up and accept my gift.

Lonny & I in front of the Christmas tree.

This is our group taking our group shot.
We had a serious pose but then the last couple were just us being crazy.

We played the game White Elephant.
Originally I won a Starbucks tumbler (YAY) that came with a small coffee packet and biscotti's but that got 'stolen' from me by a coworker.
I ended up stealing $25 worth of Lotto tickets.
And guess what!
After scratching all the lotto tickets Lonny & I won $8 and a free ticket!
That free ticket might just be my jackpot.
Cross your fingers for me.

My other coworker won a pink onesie! :)
He quickly put it on to show his good spirit!

My lunch buddies!

My Super Fabulous Manager with Lonny!

The holiday party for the office was a blast.
Great food, good company and an awesome band played at the event.
We all had a good time and I enjoyed seeing Lonny dressed nicely.

And today...all I did was finish up some Christmas presents and wrap all 35 of them!

Christmas tree with all 35 presents under the tree.
Wrapping those suckers was no walk in the park.
I suck at wrapping and to have to wrap so many presents in one sitting is torture.

Colossus knows what you all got for Christmas.

Sneaky sneaky puppy!

Got caught being sneaky sneaky puppy!

All our stockings are up.
Santa is Lonny.
Reindeer / Colossus look-a-like is Colossus.
Christmas tree is mine.

He guards the tree from the kitties who like to nibble on the presents.

I can't believe how time flies.
Christmas is THIS week!
How did December get past me so quickly?
I hope every one is having a great week and if I don't post anything before Christmas day...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

From Lonny, me, Maul, Lok, Colossus, Lola and Pinky Pants!

Oh Merry Christmas to you too.
Your home looks so cosy with you christmas lights on. Kinda makes you wish you could have a lit up tree all year round hey.
