Awhile back I noticed these really cute stacked apothecary jars on West Elm's website.
I didn't really need another q-tip or cotton round holder so I couldn't bring myself to spend $49 on them.
I really loved them and figured I'd eventually buy them after the wedding.
Wedding came and went and I didn't forget about them but it wasn't a top home priority, so I just pushed it aside.
Then one day while browsing through Instagram, I saw a fashion blogger post a picture of the jars from West Elm.
She used them as a jewelry holder.
DING!
What a great and efficient idea!
Now I had a reason to buy them.
I still went back and forth on the price.
(I've been trying to be more thrifty)
And then I was reminded of an amazing website that I used to buy my candy jars for the wedding.
I went hunting on their website and sure enough I found similar if not the same 3 stacked apothecary jars...
BUT FOR MUCH LESS!
So I figured I'd pass along my great find, a useful website, as well as show you my recent update on my bathroom try.
I like to keep every thing on the tray rather than have products all over my counter.
Makes it easy to clean up & aesthetically eye pleasing.
You can see my inexpensive stacked jars displayed with some bracelets as well as fun cocktail rings.
It was only... $12!!!
West Elm sells their small stacked jars for $34 and larger for $49.
I didn't have room for the large jars so I stuck with the small version.

There is a larger version of this jar for $20 but currently out of stock.
I have decided to leave out the polishes I'm currently wearing in case I need to touch up.
The rest just go in a drawer. Out of sight and put away.
I know some people like to keep them on the wall displays but I like everything put away.
The small Murano glass container was a gift I received from a friend long long ago.
It holds my Alexandrite (my birthstone) studs Lonny gifted me for a birthday one year.
My brown jar that holds my cotton rounds were an inexpensive purchase from Ikea.
It's called the YNGAREN Jar and was only $7.99.
Pretty clear glass canisters that hold my Q-Tips were a purchase from World Market for $9.99
Can be purchased here.
I had been on the hunt for a cute ring holder for a long time.
Originally wanted to buy this cute giraffe one from Anthroplogie but they sold out quick.
Still kicking myself in the butt for not buying it the two times I picked it up & put it back in the store.
In a pinch and wanted something simple to hold me over until I found cute ones, I ended up at Target.
These are little sauce plates but figured for $.99 cents each I couldn't go wrong.
They've been with me for almost 2 years now.
And lastly my wedding necklace!
Oh how I love this necklace that I wanted to give it it's own little dish.
This necklace was gifted to me by a wonderful, dear, and sweet friend who lives in Australia.
She is such an amazing person and I'm so glad we've been friends for the past 3 years.
It's crazy how alike we are but hate how far we are.
It's crazy how alike we are but hate how far we are.
The numbers on the necklace are my wedding dates.
September 7, 2012.
The little heart ring dish was an engagement gift from a different friend.
Every night when I come home, I remove my necklace and place it on my little heart dish.
The date reminds me of the happiest day of my life thus far.
There you have my 'what's on my bathroom tray' as well as a great find.
I hope this gives you some ideas.
