What kind do you have?
It's been years since I've purchased some new ones and I'm due for a new pair.
In all honesty - I don't need a variety of walking/running shoes.
I just need ONE pair that should last me a long time.
My current ones (Nike) have lasted me a good 5 years but now they squeak.
They've been squeaking for the past year and finally I caved.
They served their purpose but it's really time to get some non-squeaky pair.
I just need a pair to throw on to run errands or while walking the dogs.
I keep hearing good things about Reekbok Easy Tone shoes so I tried a pair on at Nordstroms today.
The whole idea behind Easy Tone is to help improve muscle tones in the hamstrings, calves and glutes.
The shoes seem nice but there were two faults.
(The pink ones)
- 1. I am a size 7 1/2 but wear an 8 in running shoes. The size 8 in Easy Tone was a bit snug and I wasn't even wearing socks. So that means with socks I would have to wear an 8 1/2 or 9? Odd!
2. The clencher - They were semi heavy for my liking. They felt heavy holding them and felt heavy wearing them.
Then I tried on a pair of Nike 'LIVESTRONG' Free Runner shoes and liked them.

Quite enjoyed these. Felt light in weight in hand and on foot.
I enjoy the grey shade and bright (much brighter in person) shoe laces.
But... they only had a 7 1/2 and no 8's in the store.
They would get another shipment in next week so I said if I couldn't find any online I'd come back.
I do know about Nordstrom's free shipping policy.
I just wanted to shop around online before I made a shoe commitment.
(Sounds so serious!)
Came home and checked out more shoes online.
Checked Endless.com and meandered onto Zappos.com.
And came across these...
Read up on the description online and they seem to be what I've been searching for.
What caught my eye (I'm a sucker) was the description that says
for the woman who's life never stops moving.
Hey! That's me! Fits me to a T!
Definitely loving the grey against coral orange shade.
I ordered them and am anxious to get these.
Who knew I'd get so excited over running shoes!
