HAPPY FATHERS DAY DADDY!!!

Celebrated by taking my Dad out to lunch.
We went to Taiwan Bistro in Saratoga.

Someone ordered this dish and as the server walked past us I pointed out that I wanted it!
I don't know what type of vegetable it is, I thought it was the potato leaf but Mom says it's not.
On the menu it's called Vegetable in Boil but it had a schezwan taste and crunch.

Meat Ball Soup:

Bamboo Cup Rice:

Looks slimy and gross but it's actually pretty good if cooked right. This place was pretty decent, but not my favorite. This is the oyster pancake. There is an egg on the side and underneath had more of the vegetable boil. This isn't your typical American pancake with batter. Click here to find out how and what is inside of this 'pancake'.

I don't know what this was, either it is a Fried Chitterling or Special Fried Tofu. I didn't eat it. It's too authentic for me to like. I've tried it before and I'm not a fan of the texture or taste.

My mom is so lovely.

And part two to come later on. Dinner with Lonny's Dad at P.F. Chang's.
