Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday!
My parents and I are not religious but we still like celebrating this holiday.
To me Christmas is about family getting together and spending quality time.
We're all grown up, living & working and basically just busy with our day to day lives that having a holiday off work and an evening with loved ones to catch up - sounds & feels really nice.
Giving to people who are less fortunate and sharing gifts with friends & family.

I am lucky enough to be able to spend Christmas with my parents as well as Lonny's step family.
The dinners and time spent together are always great times that I will cherish.
Originally I took my co-worker to Crate & Barrel with a mission ONLY to buy a potato masher.
But if you get me around Christmas decor or ornaments, I can't help myself
If you look at Crate & Barrel's webpage for ornaments you'll fall in love with not only the items but the price.

Each ornament I bought were under $5.
5"H Nutcracker $4.75
Even though I dislike larger Nutcrackers I find the small ones really cute & not as threatening.
I love the crazy hair and expression.
Their mouths actually move up and down.
Cute little ceramic pudgy Santa with a matching penguin.
I love having a bunch of Santa assortments all over my tree.
$2.95 each
Felt wrapped bird $2.95
Tinsel red, green and silver bird $1.95 each.
Beaded real pine-cone bird for $3.95 each.
This one is probably my favorite and I love the price.
Each one is different and I wish the camera picked out how cute and beady they are.
My tree is usually full of random ornaments and I never stick to a certain theme or color.
I just like having an assortment of random Christmas ornaments to give it a cozy, happy, fun-filled look.
Because my cats are evil I no longer can have round ball ornaments.
Every year I have to bin a broken ball ornament.
Luckily they don't mess with the glass figurine ornaments - they only like the balls.
What does your tree look like?

Gorgeous. I love all the birds. When growing up we had oodles of little white bird ornaments made out of real feathers. They were lovely and could be perched on the branches and held with little clips to their undersides.
This year we are going with gold and red. I will do a blog post about our tree too.
Fun.
Love the ornaments! My favorites are the birds made out of pine cones. I'm also starting to decorate for the holidays! =)
Love the birdies!! I like home-made looking decorations...if that makes sense?? Kind of natural and home-made crafty ones...yeah that doesn't make sense...hahaha! <3
