Changes in time for Autumn...

Today I hung out with my favorite person in the world...

MY MOM!

We had lunch together (we did however get lost looking for the restaurant for an hour and half!) and went shopping at Trader Joe's.

We really didn't do much but spend time together running our Sunday errands.

While at Trader Joe's I picked up 2 pumpkins as Halloween is right around the corner.

They were only $2.99 each!

Can't beat TJ's prices. :)

I haven't decided how I will decorate them yet.

I'm pretty certain I won't be carving them.

Instead I'll head to the craft store for some spooky ideas! 

So for now they will sit on my dining room table as decor.

A couple weeks ago while shopping in Target I came across bedding I liked.

Target is a never fail in price, style and quality when it comes to my ever changing mind.

I ended up snapping a few pics and Tweeting about it but did not walk away with it.

Then last Thursday I caved and decided I NEEDED this bedding.

So off to Target we went and even though my bed is a queen I picked up a king comforter. 

I like the blanket "spilling" over the edge look.

It gives it an inviting and cozy feeling.

And let's just say neither Lonny nor I are bed hog's, but one four legged animal likes to take up the bed & blanket.

(***cough COLOSSUS cough***)

I love love love how fluffy and comfortable this blanket is.

I pretty much melt every time I get into my bed.

I have a few more things to work on.

WALLS: Painting a neutral tone and putting up my wall art.

WINDOWS: Long drapes.

FLOOR: Would love to find a fluffy white rug to place around the bed area.

I need to move the black armoire out of the bedroom.

Currently it holds my TV but eventually I will get another flat screen TV to hang on the wall.

The armoire will make a swap with my desk in the living room and become a storage for blankets, pillows, throws and bed linen. 

My bedroom is so compact that less is more.
