Said YES To The Dress!

Last Thursday I received a call from the bridal shop that my dress has arrived from Spain!

It's been almost 3 months since I tried on 7 different dresses and found the 7th to be The One.

I was so excited to hear it is finally here and ready to bring home!!!

So I made a fitting appointment for Friday, June 15th.

Fast forward to TODAY!

Left work early and met my Maid of Honor at the bridal shop.

I was extremely nervous the entire week up until the point I stepped into my dress.

As I was zipped into my dress I could not stop smiling.

I was giddy, giggly, nervous and excited.
I couldn't stop staring at my dress.

It's not over the top or extremely extravagant but it fits my personality and what I love to a T.

But that being said it's not a plain dress either. 

It has a little of everything.

I went one size up just to be on the safe side.

I definitely need to have the dress taken to the tailors because I had to have a round pillow stuck in my back for the fitting today.

They do this so you get a better idea of how your dress will fit.

But other than that I'm over the moon and beyond words on my gown.

Right now my dress is hanging on my bathroom door.

Luckily I can count on Lonny not to snoop and sneak a peek.

It's not like I can hide this dress in the closet because it's too big and semi poofy.

But I'll give you a peek at my dress...

Not sure if you can see but there is white and silver beading stitched into the lace.

I'll need to make an appointment with the seamstress then after it's finished I'll leave it at my MOH's house.

I don't have a lot of space in my condo.

So yes... I can't believe my dress is at home!

I'm going to have to exercise extreme discipline not to pull the dress out and try it on.

(This is why it's going to stay at my MOH house until day of wedding!)
