Holiday decorating...

I FINALLY GOT MY CHRISTMAS TREE!!!

Our first trip to Target was a bust. The second trip on a different day was a success.

I bought an artificial tree.

As much as I love having a real tree, I do not love having to deal with maintaining a live tree.

I also did a bit of re-arranging of my living room.

Nothing really big, just moved a lamp around and put the end table it was on in my storage to give more room.

Welcome to my home.

Something is missing. Ohhhh yes, one end table with lamp.
This gives my living room more space.

The 2nd lamp that was originally by my couch is now on the file cabinet next to my desk.

I need something on that wall...but I can't figure out what.

The tree is decorated! I don't have all my ornaments.
Need to go to my parents house & dig up some childhood ones.

As we all know Lonny is a HUGE Star Wars fan. And me, well, I've not watched ONE of the movies and barely know any characters other than the main.

I found these lil ornaments sold at Target 3 years ago and I actually put them up on the tree for him.

Why?

Because I love him and that's who he is, a big Star Wars nerd!

But it doesn't mean they all have to be in the front.

Their mostly hidden on the side and back (teehee) but kept Darth Vadar at the top since it's his favorite.

I picked this little angel up from Target when I picked up my tree.
I paid $5.99 for her, she's so cute and I love that she's made out of felt.
Although Colossus thinks she's his toy and has been trying to get at it.

And of course since I do not have a fireplace we put our stockings up by the TV.
I need to buy one for Lola, Pinky & Colossus too!
