FOUNDATION: Nars Sheer Glow PART 2!

So a couple weeks ago I made a post about Nars Sheer Glow foundation.

Well, I was right...
The make up artist for NARS fitted me with the complete WRONG shade.

I went back and tested the colors out myself and figured that I was definitely the shade Barcelona.

I have more yellow under tones than pink.

And the color the make up artist fitted me with had more pink.

I should have saved the flash picture I did to test out the 1st shade, but I deleted it.
I literally had a glowing head.
The color was SO far off.

But what should I say about this foundation that many others have not?

I think I have found my holy grail foundation!

I love that it is a medium to full coverage.
When applied on my face it doesn't feel like I'm wearing ANY foundation on.
As much as I love my Chanel Pro Lumiere it did feel like I something creamy on my face.
With the Sheer Glow foundation I have to remind myself NOT to touch my face because I DO have make up on.
It definitely is long lasting.
The formula isn't thick - it's
My skin doesn't feel chapped or dry the past 3 weeks of daily use, so it IS hydrating.

Does it minimize skin discoloration?
Hmm...maybe I need to try it longer but I don't really see any difference.

Does it improve skin luminosity & radiance - Eh, probably not.
Again, I've only used it 3-4 weeks.

I wouldn't say it gives me a glow - which is fine by me because when I think of glow I think of shiny, greasy and oily.
It dries to a satin finish.

There are two ways I apply this foundation.
Either with clean fingers.
Or with the Sephora Platinum Air Brush.
I tried using the MAC 190 foundation brush (what I used with Chanel foundation) but it leaves my foundation streaky. However a quick wipe with your fingers does the trick real easily!
However I do enjoy using the Sephora Air Brush with this foundation.

The only thing I dislike is that it doesn't come with a pump and NARs advises you NOT to use a pump with it.
As for why, I forget.

These probably aren't the best hand to foundation swatches but the color of the foundation is true.

My dog Lok matches my foundation!
(He needs a bath, badly)

I definitely would give this foundation 5 out of 5.
I will repurchase this in the future.
Once I find something that I like, I usually end up sticking with it for a long time.

Is your other Nars Sheer glow lighter in color than Barcelona too, or is it the same -but different tone of color (more pink)?
If it's not too light, maybe we should swap ;) I can't wear my Barcelona because I'm too pink toned and nothing yellow. ;)
So glad you found your color match though ♥
