Reusable Bags

Ever since California went plastic free (YAY!!! - click link to read about it) I've been on the hunt for cute reusable bags.

I have a few inexpensive ones:

Ikea - $.99 and Probably hands down the sturdiest if not best for bulk groceries.

Trader Joes - $.99 - $2.99 Love that it's washing machine friendly for those pesky spills.

Marshall's - $.99 Larger version of the Ikea bag but not as sturdy. I've already torn the lining on this bag but I like how wide it is. 

We mainly use the Ikea and Trader Joe bags.

With that being said I've been on the hunt for a cute style for those farmer market days.

You know - where you don't buy in bulk and you're getting just a few veggies/fruits and special sauces.

Then while watching my friend Anna's vlog channel I saw these cute Tesco burlap ladybug bags.

I love the burlap style and ladybugs/birds are my favorite.

I searched Tesco's website, Googled it, and finally found a seller on eBay but in USD it would have been $45 for three bags!

I refuse to spend THAT much. Bah!

I went on a hunt on Etsy (love this site) and started losing hope I'd find any jute fiber bags (didn't have to have ladybugs) less than $25! 

The options and price range ($25-$100 if not more) for this style bag is outrageous and most were boring.

Then I came across Annie Ross Designs and she had these adorable burlap bags for less than $15!!!

(She has some cute throw pillows too)

I favorited her store and eventually would go back to order two.

A few months passed and I was looking through my favorites today and ended up making my purchase.

Size: 16"w x 14"h x 6"d

Only one is mine, can you guess?

If you guessed the glasses you would be correct!

Since my best friend  is my shopping buddy and we do the most shopping together I ordered her the anchor.

She loves anything to do with anchors or nautical style.

Each bag is $13 each. Still a bit pricey if you ask me but this store had the best design on Etsy and was in a price range I wouldn't mind paying. 

I'm looking forward to my new bags.

And my favorite part is giving my best friend hers.
