H U M M I N G B I R D
I've always noticed my patio is a hot spot for these zippy birds.
Every time I see one I always think of my Mom as they are her favorite winged creature.
Then yesterday while working on the patio I noticed one right above my head.
While enjoying it's beauty I looked over and realized there was a little nest.
And inside the nest were 2 eggs.
How delightful!

So I looked up Hummingbird on Wikipedia and was sad to find out their lifespan isn't very long.
Short lived beautiful birds that live such a fast life style.
Not sure how long these eggs have been here but incubation lasts for 14-23 days.
I can't wait till the babies hatch but I will keep my blog updated through the eggs progress.
I'm also searching for a pretty Hummingbird feeder so more will feel welcomed on my patio.
