I constantly get asked what my favorite Trader Joe products are.
And that's really hard to list because there is so much as well as seasonal items.
So I will try my best to get a weekly top 5 post every Sunday.
#1
My morning daily cup!
I've been drinking it for the past 3 years and it's perfect every day cup of Joe!
They come in whole beans but Trader Joe's has a grind machine that you can use.
Rich, dark, deep coffee just the way I like it.
#2
I choose panko versus breadcrumbs (unless you're making homemade) because of the crunch factor.
Something about panko makes pasta or chicken dishes have a perfect bite.
Of course the Japanese specialty store always has the best panko but if you're in a pinch, TJ's version works just as well.
#3
When we first adopted Colossus his coat was very thin.
Our breeder told us to feed him a teaspoon of tuna in olive oil with his dry food.
Sure enough that worked wonders.
We haven't given him tuna for a couple years but every once in awhile we'll give him a little bite.
However, I seem to really love the flavor and freshness of Trader Joe's tuna in a can.
Sometimes I add this to pasta dishes or make myself a tuna sandwich.
A little mayo, capers, sweet relish, salt & pepper, and chopped celery added to a bagel or bread of choice with sprouts or slices of cucumbers. YUM!
#4
Pulled Pork!
Usually pulled pork is a process that takes longer than 3 minutes.
No longer do you need to wait that long because Trader Joe's does it all for you!
This is it! This was really good and full of BBQ flavor.
Took us only 3 minutes to microwave and it says it serves 3 but if you get the mini buns they can feed more.
Made a great leftover meal for the next day as well.
#5
Crunchy, light, crisp and quick.
I love to eat these alone (rarely do I drizzle syrup on my breakfast - too sweet) or occasionally I'll make it just like the package picture.
Fresh whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
So there you have my weekly top 5.
If you try any of the products out please let me know what you think!
See you next Sunday!
