Hummingbirds growing so fast!

The end of last week the wee little ones looked like little aliens.
Barely just opened their eyes.

And as of this morning at 6am they have distinctive feathers and it looks like their long beaks are starting to form.

Since I have these little babies living off my patio I found out a few facts to share.

1. A hummingbird's beak is shaped like any other bird beak, just longer in proportion to it's body.

2.  A hummingbird can see farther than humans.

3. Hummingbirds are very smart and can remember every flower they have been to and how long it will take a flower to refill.

4. A hummingbird can hear better than humans.

5. Hummingbirds are the tiniest birds in the world.
